Yes. You can add activities at any time, subject to availability, and we will send you an updated quote before anything is confirmed. If you remove an activity, the same timeframes as our cancellation terms apply to that activity’s price: 50% more than 60 days before departure, 60% between 30 and 60 days, 80% between 15 and 29 days, and 100% within 14 days. Permits and park fees already purchased are non-refundable. We handle all payment adjustments, so you only deal with us.

To provide the best possible experience, most activities and transportation are currently assigned by our local partners based on scheduling and availability to ensure your itinerary runs smoothly.

Our team and your guides can help recommend the ideal timings for each activity and how to arrange them in your itinerary for the best experience. Depending on the length of your trip, we suggest leaving the exact timing of each activity flexible to decide as you go.

We know that plans can change. If you need to adjust or cancel your booking, simply contact us at team@ganzaadventure.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Park and conservation fees are included in your confirmed offer and prepaid by us when required. They are set by the national authorities—Uganda Wildlife Authority in Uganda, and TANAPA and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority in Tanzania—so we cannot discount them. They are passed on at the official rate without a markup.

We don’t offer international flights on our platform for a simple reason: you can often find and book them at better prices elsewhere. At ganzaadventure.com, we focus on the aspects of your trip that are harder to plan and book, ensuring the process is as seamless as possible.

While we strive to offer competitive rates, we can’t promise the lowest price. Booking a basic package directly with a local operator can sometimes cost less. What you get with ganzaadventure.com is a tailor-made itinerary, vetted local partners, one point of contact, a clear booking and payment process, and dedicated WhatsApp support during your trip.

Travelers who require a Ugandan visa should apply online through the official service at https://visas.immigration.go.ug/. Apply as a tourist and request a three-month tourist visa. Allow at least five to seven working days for processing, and check the current official entry requirements before travel. Contact us at team@ganzaadventure.com if you need assistance.

Uganda no longer requires a yellow fever vaccination certificate for entry. We still recommend speaking to your doctor or a travel clinic about yellow fever and other vaccinations well before you travel. Other countries on your route, including Tanzania and your home country, may ask for a certificate depending on where you are arriving from, so please check the rules for every country you visit or transit through. A yellow fever certificate, if you have one, is valid for life, beginning 10 days after the date of vaccination.

The Ugandan Shilling is used in Uganda, although US dollars or Euro are generally accepted. Please ensure that you don’t have US dollars / Euro notes prior to 2006 and the notes are not damaged or cut in any way as they are not accepted. There are ATMs in all big cities which accept most international bank cards and Visa. It is important that you know what your daily withdrawal limit is. For a fee we can arrange for you to exchange your local currency to Ugandan Shillings on your first day. Talk to us if you wish to use this service!

Visa requirements depend on nationality. Travelers who require a tourist visa can normally apply online through Tanzania’s official e-Visa portal at https://visa.immigration.go.tz/. The ordinary tourist visa costs $50 USD and is valid for up to 90 days. US passport holders traveling for tourism must instead apply for a $100 USD multiple-entry visa. Some nationalities are visa-exempt, while referral-visa applicants face different requirements and longer lead times, so always check the current official guidance for your passport before applying. Tanzania Immigration advises lodging standard applications at least 10 days before travel; we recommend allowing two to three weeks for delays. One Tanzanian visa covers both the mainland and Zanzibar.

Visitors to Zanzibar must purchase the mandatory local inbound travel insurance before arrival through the official portal at https://inbound.visitzanzibar.go.tz/. This policy is separate from and does not replace comprehensive medical and repatriation insurance. Costs, coverage, and requirements can change, so confirm the current official guidance before travel.

No. The East Africa Tourist Visa covers travel between Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda; it does not cover Tanzania. A trip that includes Tanzania requires separate Tanzanian entry authorization. Visa validity and re-entry rules can depend on your itinerary and the issuing country, so confirm your country sequence with the relevant immigration authorities before travel.

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required when arriving from a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission, including after a transit of 12 hours or more in such a country. Travelers arriving from countries without that risk generally are not required to present one. Uganda and Kenya are among the countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission, so if you travel to Tanzania directly from either country, you should expect to be asked for a certificate. Check every flight connection, not only your departure country, and confirm the current list of risk countries before you travel. A certificate becomes valid 10 days after vaccination, and one dose provides lifelong protection under the current rules.

The Tanzanian Shilling is the local currency. US dollars may be accepted for some tourism-related payments, but acceptance varies, and businesses may refuse older, damaged, or marked notes. Bring clean, recent-series notes and use Tanzanian Shillings for everyday purchases. Confirm payment arrangements with Ganza Adventure before departure.

You can buy a prepaid SIM on arrival in Uganda or Tanzania; bring your passport for registration and use an official store. If your phone supports eSIM, you can buy a prepaid data eSIM before you travel. Coverage is strong in cities and resort areas, including Zanzibar, but varies in national parks and remote forests. Many lodges offer free Wi-Fi in common areas, although speeds can be slow. Portable hotspots are another option for steadier access, but remote areas can still have gaps in coverage.

We strongly recommend a Travel Protection Plan offered by insurance agencies. For one low per-person price, you can buy peace of mind and keep your trip stress-free. Ask your travel advisor about it at the time of booking a safari.
